Casemiro has turned himself into a very important player for Real Madrid. Bought by The Galacticos to Sao Paulo on July 2013 for just $7 million he transformed into a key player in Zinedine Zidane's team. But, after all this time, the Brazilian midfielder recognized that his name is not correct spelled.

Casemiro revealed that his true name is Carlos Henrique Casemiro, spelled with an i, not an e. But the error has a whole story and a reason to be. The 28 years old player said that once he played a game at Sao Paulo in which he did it very well and people called him Casemiro so, since then, he just decided to keep it for luck.

The player said that the game marked his name forever and that people now call him Casemiro, so that he adapted to it. In fact, Casemiro is his mother’s surname, that the player decided to keep even though he could just be Carlos Henrique.

After more than five years at the club, Casemiro is now fully adapted. At first, he was in a loan to Sao Paulo and he even went to Oporto for a year. But now, after 244 games of Real Madrid fist team he transformed himself into a key part of the team and also from the Brazil international squad.
