Carlos Vela and Antoine Griezmann have been close friends since both shared team, on Real Sociedad. The Mexican arrive to the Spanish side on 2011, first on a loan, and afterwards on a permanent deal, on 2012. The French attacker was there since 2005, when he joined the youth squad, until 2014, when he to Atlético de Madrid.

In those years together, both players made a great relationship and nowadays, when they are playing in different parts of the world, they always say that they would love to be reunited. For Vela to go back to Europe seems to be hard, but to Griezmann to move to MLS could be probable.

The French forward, world champions on Russia 2018, is playing for FC Barcelona since July 2019, when he left Atlético de Madrid. Since then, he couldn’t show once against his best level and, with a contract remaining until 2024, we may think that Barça could let him out.

The MLS has always been a league that Griezmann looked after. Even though the competition is not at the level of La Liga, top players earn huge salaries. Gonzalo Higuaín is currently the best paid player on the MLS, gaining $8.8 million per year, and Griezmann could replace him if his friend Vela convince him to move to LAFC.
