Paris Saint Germain and Club Brugge played out a 1-1 draw in Belgium in their opening group game of the Champions League and despite a host of stars on the pitch, Dutch midfielder Noa Lang was awarded player of the match by UEFA.

Top stars like Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr, Kylian Mbappé and others were on the pitch but the 22year old outshined them all to claim the best player of the match.

Ander Hererra opened the scoring for PSG in the first half and Brugge striker Hams Vanaken pulled it back before halftime. The Belgians held the Parisians and ensured they returned to Paris with just a point.

Manchester City ran riot in the other match of the group defeating RB Leipzig 6-3.
