Mesut Özil arrived at Arsenal in 2013 after 4 seasons playing for Real Madrid and starting showing a really high level. After 6 years at arsenal he scored 47 games and gave 70 assists in 227 matches. The amount of opportunities created is kind of impressive, but now his situation at Arsenal is not the best.

Mikel Arteta left the German out of the list for the Premier League and the Uefa Europa League. Now, his future is uncertain. The player does not seem like the option of playing at some other Premier League club and he would have to wait a half season to do it. So, could he come to the MLS?

Özil is known for his quality to give assists, create opportunities and find spaces where normal people usually cannot see anything. That is the kind of characteristics that do not get old, he does not depend on stamina or physical strength to be a key player and that’s why he seduces a lot of teams outside Europe.

Besides, he played 6 seasons in Germany if we included Schalke 04 and Werder Bremen before going to Madrid and then Arsenal. So it is easy to assume that he can adapt quickly to a new league. He also is a natural winner, he won 14 trophies, including a World Cup.
