Arsenal has reopened talks to terminate Mesut Ozil's contract after the German playmaker has being left out of the Europa League squad. The Gunners are willing to sell the World Champion for a los price because his contract is really expensive and the London club is looking for ways to get rid of it. In addition, Ozil has low praise from Miker Arteta.

Arsenal Football Club's decision to part ways with the German midfielder creates the opportunity for an MLS to try to sign him. Complications may appear because of Ozil's high salary. In fact, the former Schalke 04 playmaker earn the highest salary in the English squad: 350,000 pounds per week. Arsenal's board thinks that that amount of money is too much for a player out of the consideration of his coach.

The attempt from the MLS to bring Mesut Ozil to the United States motivates Arsenal. A year ago, rumors arose that several American teams wanted to have his service. Some of this teams were DC United, LA Galaxy, Orlando City, Philadelphia Union and, the still-in-progress team, Inter Miami.

Of all the possible destinations for Mesut Ozil, the MLS is the most feasible because the transfer window is open until the end of October. In Europe, the transfer window it has already closed and teams can hire free players. The leagues in the Middle East are the only ones that can compete with the MLS in the race for Ozill. Arsenal Football Club is hopeful that an American soccer franchise offer for the German player will arrive before the end of the month.
