The FIFA Club World Cup that takes place in Dubai has already started, being the last one in history that will have this format. Tigres UANL started with a victory, defeating Ulsan Hyundai in their first game and qualifying to play the next round against Palmeiras, the winner of the Copa Libertadores.

The Concacaf Champions League winners had a tough game, and were able to take the victory thanks to a great performance of André-Pierre Gignac, the French attacker that scored the two goals of the Mexican side. We could say that Gignac is the best striker in the competition, but Robert Lewandowski may put that in doubt.

The attacker of Bayern Munich has been the best one in the world during the last season, performing even better than legends as Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo. The German side will face Al-Ahly, that has recently won against Al-Duhail, in their first game that could take them to the final.

The last game is the only one in which Gignac could face Lewandowski. In the comparison between attackers, we must say that Gignac has 30 goals scored in 37 matches played since 2020, while Lewandowski scored 52 goals in 47 matches in the same period of time. For the clubs they are currently playing for, the Frenchman has 146 goals in 245 matches, and the Polish 273 goals in 314 games.
