Without disclosing names or political parties, on Wednesday afternoon André-Pierre Gignac used his social networks to send a message in which he denounced that his image is being used for political campaigning. The historical forward of the Tigres sent a small text in which he assured that he is unaware of the publications that have been made, and that at no time has he given authorization for them to use his image.

"I learned that a political publication is running using my image. That was done without my participation and without my permission. These are issues that I avoid because you are the ones who have to decide on politics. I have always kept my distance on those issues that don't correspond to me. I know almost everyone personally, and they know that I don't participate in this type of thing", he wrote on his official Twitter account.

On June 6, in Nuevo León there will be elections, there will be voting to choose the new governor, the mayors of the 51 municipalities that make up the state, and 42 state deputies. In any case, despite not giving names, it's Samuel García, who used the image of the attacker to campaign.

On the other hand, it is known that Gignac doesn't get into political issues and is focused on football and overcome the bad season they are doing under the orders of Ricardo Ferretti.
