Cristiano Ronaldo completed a stunning return to Manchester United via Juventus during this summer transfer window. The Old Lady got £13m in transfer fee with a potential £8m later in add-ons to allowed a coveted forward to depart the Allianz Stadium. It was quite the homecoming for Cristiano Ronaldo, returning to Manchester United that brought him to global limelight after 12 years away. Fans, players, coaches and even rivals were happy to see that Ronaldo would once again play in the English Premier League.

However, not everyone was happy with Ronaldo's return to Old Trafford. Especially players such as Edinson Cavani, Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford whose playing time would most likely reduce. The 36-year-old forward plays on the left-wing or sometimes in the striker position at the middle of the pitch. Ronaldo's quest for goals and Marcus Rashford's effectiveness and high standing within the team suggests that once the English forward is fit he would be deployed on the left wing while Ronaldo would move into the centre forward position, pushing out Cavani of the team.

Additionally, Ronaldo's return to United threw up a big question of what shirt number the Portuguese captain would wear at Old Trafford. His preferred No 7 was already assigned to Edinson Cavani for the season. In a twist of events, the Uruguayan striker transferred the No 7 jersey to Cristiano Ronaldo, with Cavani taking the No 21 jersey.

These occurrences are all part of the reason why Edinson Cavani is considering moving to Boca Juniors by winter transfer. The Uruguayan has long preferred to play for the Argentina-based club and he might get the chance soon. With Ronaldo's move to United, Cavani looks set to be on the way outside of Manchester United. Thus,  Juventus loss is Boca  Juniors gain.
