Alan Pulido is going through a very strange moment. The Mexican attacker was one of the best signing of the MLS, but ended the season injured and couldn’t play the last key games. The forward lost the matches from the MLS Cup Playoffs. His team was eliminated by Minnesota United FC on the semifinals of the Western Conference, and he couldn’t play.

The bad luck made Pulido lost this very important games and his team suffered it. He scored five goals and gave two assists after nine games played in the season, being prized as one of the best signings of the year. But after all he ended sad for the bad results his team suffered when he couldn’t play.

Pulido’s greatest objective is to return to Mexico national team and play the next World Cup for the very first time in his professional career. He made his debut on January 2014 and since then he had only 13 appearances, in which he scored five goals. This year he was call-up once and played a friendly against Argelia.

Gerardo Martino is already thinking on who could be the players called for the next FIFA international break and, knowing that Raúl Jiménez is touched, he could be an option. To play in a more important league, Pulido is also considering on moving to Europe, as Villarreal has always showed interest on him.
