Barcelona have announced that summer signing from Manchester City Sergio Aguero will be out for at least three months due to a diagnosed heart condition after he was substituted in the last match against Deportivo Alaves.

Aguero who only made his debut in the El Clasico after being out injured for 10 weeks due to a calf injury. He scored on his return during the El Clasico but was substituted in the 42nd minute against Deportivo Alaves after complaining of difficulty in breathing. He was immediately rushed to the hospital where he was diagnosed with cardiac arrhythmias.

Barcelona announced today he would be out for three months at least; “Agüero has been subjected to a diagnostic and therapeutic process by Dr. Brugada. He is unavailable for selection and, during the next three months, the effectiveness of treatment will be evaluated in order to determine his recovery process”.

Everything that could go wrong has gone wrong for Barcelona. Martin Braithwaite and Ansu Fati are two forward options but are injured. Barcelona have Erling Haaland on their wishlist but they can't afford him. Luuk De Jong is the only recognised striker in the team but his goal record is very poor.
