Barcelona made the announcement on their social media networks that their injured players Sergio Aguero and Ousmane Dembele are back at the club's training but still awaiting medical clearance to be available for selection by head coach Ronald Koeman.

Aguero joined Barcelona on a free transfer from Manchester City but is yet to play a single minute having picked up a calf injury in training. He joined the club so he could play with his friend Lionel Messi but unfortunately Lionel Messi has left the club for Paris Saint-Germain.

Ousmane Dembele has a bad record at Barcelona with injuries and has hardly stayed fit since joining the club for a huge fee of €105m from Borussia Dortmund in 2017. He totally missed the era of Quique Setien at Barcelona because he was injured, he never played till Setien was sacked.

Head coach Ronald Koeman will be happy with the return to fitness of the two players who could help him turn situations of results around at the club. He is under pressure to produce results with Barcelona currently ninth on La Liga table and are struggling after the departure of Lionel Messi.
