Alejandro Mayorga was axed by Chivas on January 2020, when the club decided that he was not going to be needed and send him on a loan to Pumas. The left wing defender should go back to his old club on December 2020, but there are other plans for him regarding Chivas sport adviser.

As Chivas want to incorporate a right wing defender, Mayorga may be used as an exchange currency. Sport adviser Ricardo Peláez is working after Victor Manuel Vucetich accepted to let Mayorga at Pumas and swap him for Alan Mozo, right defender aged 23.

Pumas are very excited on counting with Mayorga from now on, as the player had very good performances at the club after 23 games played, in which he scored two goals and provide four assists. If the swap advance, Mozo will be leaving Pumas, where he played 12 out of 15 matches these season, scoring no goals and giving two assists.

Chivas isn't facing their very best moments, as they lost their last match against Cruz Azul on Week 15 of Apertura Liga MX. Now, they stand 9th on the Guard1anes tournament, trying to keep their place in the playoffs zone. In the last two games of the season, they will be facing Pumas and Monterrey.
