After a quick move, will Steven Beitashou join Colorado Rapids?

Colorado Rapids had reported that was seeking for a fullback early in the week. And finally rumors seems to stop after a new name that they would acquire. Steven Beitashour would join the Western Conference team in the following hours according to journalist Tom Bogert.

Beitashour would arrive as a free agent defender. Sources of MLS reported that only pending paperwork are behind the negotiation to acquire the defender. As a right back, the 33-year-old played in that position for most time in his career. His last two seasons were in Los Angeles Football Club.

Despite the fact the Rapids haven't confirmed yet the signing, everything seems to be settled to a great transfer fee. The Irani American was with Toronto FC when they were the MLS Cup runner-ups in 2016 and won in 2017. “I’m ready to get back on the field. And I’m still competitive, so I want to play, I want to win.
