Liverpool showed a really poor performance against Ajax on their Champions League debut. However, thanked to an own goal by Nicolas Tagliafico, they got the win. Now fans are really worried about this season objectives and are arguing each other to see which player should replace Virgil Van Dijk.

The first option is Dayot Upamecano. The French center-back demonstrated on the last Champions League that he is an elite defender. He is only 21 years old and has already played 158 matches in his career. Clearly this French player is one of the biggest prospects of the world right now.

A cheaper option would be Ben White, the center-back from Brighton. The problem is that the club wants 50 million dollars for him, so imagine how expensive Upamecano was. Virgil Van Dijk has already been one of the most expensive defenders in the history of football and Liverpool do not want to spend that much.

The last player that fans are talking about is Ozan Kabak, another prospect. With only 20 years old, he is one of the wonder kids at Bundesliga and Klopp wants to sign him before Bayern Munich does. The only truth is that at this point, the team needs a new center-back, who is going to be?
