The mid-season transfer market is anything but quiet for AC Milan. The Italian side is looking to expand their options in defense and attack, therefore, they are looking for new faces to bring into the squad. There are two names over the table, and negotiations could close both deals soon. The whole movement could demand up to €17 million.

First things first – defenders: Chelsea has little room for Fikayo Tomori. The Canadian-born English center-back is close to leave, and Milan airport could be his destination. He only played 11 minutes against Morecambe in the FA Cup clash, these were his first movements on the pitch since September. If Milan can afford €17 million, Tomori will head to San Siro.

Apart from him, is a man with very big experience: Mario Mandzukic. The 34-year-old from Croatia is a free agent after leaving Qatar’s Al Duhail SC in mid-2020. Despite his lack of activity, the World Cup Final goal-scorer would be extremely interested in returning to a top-flight league in Europe after his spells in Bayern Munchen and Juventus.

Mandzukic could form an amazing striking pair with Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Recently it was reported that Brazil’s Alexandre Pato (51 goals in 117 appearances for AC Milan in 2007-2013), was keen onto return to AC Milan too and re-join the Swedish legend.

Tomori looking for a revival

FIkayo Tomori was a key player for the English Under-20 national team that lifted the 2017 World Cup in South Korea, playing alongside new Premier League stars like Dominic Calver-Lewin or Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
