A new Mexican Messi appeared and fans exploded for his videos

Mexico is still waiting for a great talented player to appear in this decade and helping them to accomplish their great objective of playing a decisive game in a World Cup. Until now, they’ve got great players during the last years, as Raúl Jiménez, Hirving Lozano or Javier Hernández, but never a top legend that can guide them to the title.

A couple of months ago it was said that a Mexican Lionel Messi appeared with Luka Romero, but the player finally decided to go with Argentina national team. A similar situation may be occurring now, as there is a new top skilled youngster who was born at Mexico, but may play for Canada national team.

His name is Marcelo Flores, he is just 17 years old, and he is an offensive midfielder playing for Arsenal U18. The videos of his skills have gone viral through all over the world and specially at Mexico, where they noticed the talent that he had and that he could be a possible player of their national team in the future.

Formed in Ipswich, Flores moved to Arsenal last year and has already scored three goals and given an assist after the 10 games played this season. He hasn’t yet been called for any national team, even though it is known that Gerardo Martino has him in the radar and wants to make the first move to convince him of playing for Mexico.
