A friend of Lionel Messi revealed what decision he will make regarding FC Barcelona: 'He told me'

Lionel Messi has more than 15 years as a high profile soccer player. He met lots of people and made several friends in his career with FC Barcelona and Argentina national team. And he has recently met one of those friends, who asked him about his future after next summer, when his contract with his current club expires.

This friend of him was Emiliano Armenteros, who played alongside the GOAT for Argentina U-20 national team and won the World Cup in that category in 2005, with Messi scoring the two goals of that final. Armenteros, now retired, works at Rayo Vallecano, the team that FC Barcelona defeated 2-1 in Copa del Rey and had a little talk with him.

And when Armenteros was asked about whether they talked about Messi's future, he said 'Yes, he told me'. The former teammate asked him that because everybody wants to find out. But the star just dodged the answer and told him he did not know. Anyway, his friend thinks Messi will leave the club.

Armenteros thinks Messi will reject David Beckham's project at Inter Miami CF and is trying to decide between Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City. He thinks that the star actually wants to stay, but it will not be possible due to the crisis that the team is facing at the moment.
