Chivas had a strange last season, in which the team couldn’t make it to the top for teams at tournament Guard1anes and some players committed undisciplined acts. Both head coach Víctor Vucetich and sport adviser Ricardo Peláez decided to kick those who didn’t behave and that was how Alexis Peña, José Juan Vázquez and Eduardo López won’t play again for the team.

The case of Dietere Villalpando was very emblematic as well, as the player has been separated and won’t be paying soon. With that panorama, Chivas is already thinking on how the squad is going to be made for the next season. The arrival of César Huerta, who went back from a loan at Mazatlán FC, is confirmed.

As Huerta, there are some other players who may be going back to Chivas with no cost. That option is very considered these days, after the crisis that many clubs are going through due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The chance to sign for free or recover players loaned and replaced the for the undisciplined ones is well seen by Vucetich.

In that conditions, Chivas has Oswaldo Alanís, at San Jose Earthquakes, Josécarlos Van Rankin, at Santos Laguna, Alejandro Mayorga, at Pumas UNAM and José de Jesús Godínez, at León. If Vucetich and Peláez want, they could be signing those four players back and make a more competitive team.
