FC Barcelona have reportedly put up 9 first-team players on the list of players that could be sold this summer. The La Liga giants are in a dire financial situation and desperately need to raise money and/or get top players out of their wage bill before they can register new players.
Despite Lionel Messi agreeing terms on a new deal and taking a 50% wage cut, top players such as Antoine Griezmann, Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele are top of the list of marketable players that could be sold. Griezmann especially is thought to be able to bring in about £70m if he secures a move away from the Camp Nou.
Other players on the list include Danish striker Martin Braithwaite, defender Gerard Pique, Frenchman Clement Lenglet, goalkeeper Neto, and the right-back duo of Moussa Wague and Emerson Royal. Longstanding players like Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba and Sergio Roberto are also reported to be available.
Barcelona needs to move some of the big earners on their squad before they can register new signings Sergio Aguero, Memphis Depay, and Eric Garcia.
