Ronaldinho has a career of more than 20 years in which he is recognized as one of the most talented players in the history of soccer. From a very early age, he stood out for his great technique, skill and quality when controlling the ball. He was also well known  for the precision of his passes and free kicks and for improvising plays.

Ronaldinho quickly acquired the status of an idol among the fans, placing him alongside other illustrious Brazilian players such as Romario, Ronaldo and Rivaldo. During his time at Barcelona, FIFA singled him out as the best player in the world, awarding him the FIFA World Player award in 2004 and 2005. He also won the "King of Europe" award three consecutive times while playing for the Blaugrana. Find the latest news about the team he played for and won the Champions League with.

He is the third player in history to win at least once the most important national team, European club and American club tournaments respectively (the World Cup, the Champions League, and the Copa Libertadores de América) after Cafú and Roque Junior, but among them, he is the only one to win a Ballon d'Or. He also won a Copa America and an Al-Fateh Futsal Continental Cup.

In January 2018, Ronaldinho announced his official retirement from professional soccer at the age of 37, bringing to an end a dynasty of the ultimate exponent of the so-called Jogo Bonito.

He retired as the only player in history to have won the World Cup, the UEFA Champions League, the Copa Libertadores and the Ballon d'Or. Learn more about other competitions and get to know the latest results of your favorite teams.

Ronaldinho has been endorsed by many international companies, including Nike, EA Sports and Gatorade.

Last year a parody of an old video game with him as the main character went viral. The original soccer game, called International Superstar Soccer 64, was released by the Japanese company Konami in 1997, but in 2020 a pirated version of the game called Mundial Ronaldinho Soccer 64 became popular among the Internet users.

This pirated version was released by the company TEG Peru in 1998 for the Brazilian market.

The game intro was altered with pictures of Ronaldo and with its title changed to "Mundial Ronaldinho Soccer 64". Next, a laughing voice announced the name of the game.

Apart from his participation in commercials and video games, Ronaldinho collaborates in charitable causes with Unicef and holds the internet record of being the main character of the first video in the history of YouTube to reach one million views.
