The Covid-19 pandemic continues to wreak havoc in Brazil. Luis Fabiano has suffered it in the first person. The 40-year-old former Sevilla striker was admitted to a Sao Paulo hospital after contracting the coronavirus. Luis Fabiano was "stable" under "observation", but, fortunately, he has already been discharged and has returned home. These have been easy days for us, however, for the former Brazilian international. 

"Battle won. It has been one of the toughest I have fought. When you have health you fight for any objective, no matter how difficult it may be. But when something affects your health and you lose control, the fight is much more complicated", he said. O Fabuloso in a statement he made through Instagram.

"Thanks to God, my family, my friends and this fantastic team, I am free from COVID-19 after two very difficult weeks. I want to give a special thanks to doctors Fábio and Gustavo, in addition to the excellent team that was in charge of my treatment", he continued.

"I thank all of you for the optimal vibrations that you transmitted to me in the last hours. I'm sure that this accelerated my recovery. Take this virus seriously. It is treacherous. Take care of yourselves and your relatives", he concluded.
