Spain beat Italy 2-1 in the semifinal of the UEFA Nations League to reach the final of the second edition of the competition. Manchester City forward Ferran Torres scored the two goals for La Roja. Juventus star Federico Chiesa got a consolation back for the Euro 2020 winner.

France on the other hand came from two goals down to beat their European neighbors Belgium 3-2 including a last minute winner from Theo Hernandez. PSG forward Kylian Mbappé was also on the score sheet putting behind the disappointment of the Euro 2020 penalty miss to score a penalty in the match.

The two will play in a few minutes time, Spain is ranked eighth in the world on FIFA rankings while France is ranked fourth, so it will be a battle of top teams. France are the more experienced squad having retained the majority of their World Cup winning squad while Spain have a younger squad with the majority of the dominant 2008-2012 squad already out.

The match promises a huge payout for the winner. UEFA has put a prize of $12.1m on the match for the winner while the loser won't get the trophy, it will also get a good pay of $10.4m as the second placed team. Italy won the 3rd place match earlier today and got $9.2m.
