Just a week before the start of the Gold Cup, the United States unveiled its final roster of 23 called up, with the surprise that 19 of them are players currently playing in Major League Soccer. In this way, the coach of the United States team, Gregg Berhalter, will seek to conquer the seventh Concacaf title, betting on local talent to achieve it.

The United States is in group B of the competition, and it shares it with Canada, Martinique, and a fourth that will come out of the preliminary round, between Barbados, Haiti, Bermuda or Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. It should be noted that he will play all the matches of the first phase at the Sporting Kansas City Stadium, Children's Mercy Park.

The most prominent players on this list of 23 are goalkeeper Matt Turner, who defends the New England Revolution fence, LA Galaxy midfielder Sebastian Lletget, and powerful Orlando City forward Daryl Dyke. For their part, 12 players will make their debut in international tournaments with the United States team shirt.

The Gold Cup will begin on July 10, and will be played in the United States itself. The tournament will consist of a first instance with group stage, and elimination rounds until reaching the grand final on August 1, at the Allegiant Stadium in the city of Las Vegas.
