The two finalists of the 2021 CONCACAF Champions League have already been decided. Two Mexican clubs, Monterrey and Club America will compete in the final for the ultimate crown on October 27, making it a second consecutive all Mexico final.

Asides from the opportunity to win the trophy, a player from each of the clubs have the chance to win the highest goalscorer award but they must work for it if they will surpass the current highest goalscorer who plays for Philadelphia Union and has already been knocked out of the competition.

Kacper Przybyłko is currently the highest goalscorer with five goals in six games played before Union was knocked out by Club America. Maximiliano Meza of Monterrey is right behind him, the Argentine striker will win the award if he scores twice in the final, while Federico Viñas of Club America has three goals and will win if he scores a hattrick.

The two teams are two of the best clubs in the Liga MX as well as in the continent and have a combined 11 CONCACAF Champions League trophies between them. They will face each other on October 27, will Club America extend their record of most wins to eight or will Monterrey increase their Trophy to five?
