If Gerardo Martino doesn´t hurry, the USMNT could stay with the future better MLS defender

Gerardo Martino is looking for Mexican players throughout the world and trying to nationalize some foreigners so they can play for the Mexican team but he is forgetting one of the best young players in MLS. If the Mexican team does not summon him as soon as possible, the player could go to the USMNT.

LA Galaxy has many Mexican players on its team and one of the winners of the most awards this season was Julian Araujo. The young Mexican player was the revelation of the team and managed to earn his place in the first team based on very good games. Not only did he play as a defender on the right, which is his natural position, but also as a forward.

Julian Araujo has already said that his wish is to play for the Mexican national team one day but he also said that he has the offer of the USMNT. Gerardo Martino has not yet called him up to participate in any friendlies and that prompted USMNT coach Berhalter to send one of his agents to try to convince him to play for USMNT.

If Martino does not rush to call Julian Araujo to the Mexican national team, he may lose the possibility of having one of the best projects that the MLS and LA Galaxy have. Araujo is called up to the under-20s selection of the Mexican national team, but that does not assure him anything about his future in the Mexican national team.
