Ronald Koeman's close to signing an unexpected reinforcement for Barcelona

Given the need for income in Barcelona, the Spanish team contemplates the sale of Emerson Royal, a defender who plays on loan at Real Betis until the end of the season, in the face of the next transfer market. With the presence of Sergiño Dest and Sergi Roberto, Ronald Koeman interprets that the position is occupied. 

However, in the absence of high offers and with the low offer of PSG (15 million euros), the culé team does not rule out that Emerson participates in the preseason in mid-July. Last summer, Milan had been interested in the player but the previous board rejected the proposal that was less than 23 million.

Currently, the defender is co-owned in equal parts between Betis and Barcelona, and signed for five seasons with the Barça club with the condition of playing the first two as Betis.

The culé team analyzes different solutions. One of them is that I was second to Dest and the other is that before the arrival of a great offer, the defender would leave Barcelona. If Emerson is sold before January 2022, the culé team must share the percentage with Betis. In Seville they say it would be 50%, while in Barcelona they plan to reduce it to 20%.
