Erling Haaland is represented by top agent Mino Raiola which is one of the reasons fending many clubs away from dealing with the signing of the striker due to Raiola's high agent fee and ridiculous wage demands for his players. Manchester City are big spenders who would do anything to get their targets, but there could be a problem.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola and Mino Raiola have a strained relationship which began when the Spaniard was the manager of FC Barcelona, Raiola called out Guardiola over the treatment of Sweden striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic who had threatened to beat Guardiola in public if he doesn't allow him leave the club.

Ever since the incident in 2008/09 season, Pep Guardiola and Mino Raiola have hardly had any transfer dealings together, though speculations abound but it get cooled off over time, but this time the player involved is Erling Haaland, utmost priority player who any club will go to war for.

According to reports by English tabloids the two are set to put their personal differences aside to have discussions over the potential deal for the Norwegian striker. It will be notable to see how the turn of event unfolds, Chelsea were closer to the Haaland deal but it later collapsed.
