Calafiori certifies a rout of the era
Arsenal are brutal, crushing PSV. Odegaard uses his periscope to set up Calafiori and the Italian finishes cross-field like a pure striker. The return will be a mere formality.
Rice is once again splendid in his effort and wins the byline to force a corner.

Noa Lang's wonderful penalty gave PSV a new lease of life. It was a key moment to close the gap in a match they had already lost.

Arsenal are trying to calm the game down in these final minutes of the first half. The Gunners are moving the ball from side to side.
Despite the harsh punishment they received in the first half hour of play, PSV did not give up and looked for a little joy before the break.

A huge mistake by Flamingo. The PSV defender leaves the ball dead in his own six-yard box . And Merino , in his reinvented version of a centre forward, makes the most of it. Arsenal are killing the tie in the first 45 minutes.
Rice tries to pass a header to Merino inside the area, but Boscagli anticipates to close the gap.
Raya is very alert and comes out of the area to collect a long ball. PSV is already retreating.

PSV Eindhoven suffered a 3-2 defeat against Go Ahead Eagles on March 1, struggling defensively in an open match. Prior to that, they lost 2-1 at home to the same opponent in the KNVB Cup on February 26. However, they showed their attacking quality in the Champions League with a 3-1 victory over Juventus on February 19, proving they can compete at a high level.
Arsenal arrives at this match with mixed results. They were held to a goalless draw against Nottingham Forest on February 26, following a 1-0 home loss to West Ham on February 22. However, their 2-0 win over Leicester City on February 15 displayed their ability to bounce back. Arsenal remains a serious contender and will be looking to get back to winning ways in this fixture.
