SOMMER'S SAVE! Olise took a long time to finish, as the ball came to him at the far post when he was alone, but it fell to his weak foot. He controlled it, stopped to shoot with his left foot, and the home team's wall was already closing in on him.

Çalhanoglu takes a chance with a tremendous shot from a set piece. He was too far away, but the ball ended up flying high.

CHANGE IN THE INTER

Dimarco leaves the field and Carlos Augusto enters.

A cross from the left failed to reach Gnabry's goal, and Dimarco dived at the far post to clear. The flag was subsequently raised for an illegal position by Bayern's number 7.

Things aren't going well for Bayern... Olise tries to take it in the three-quarters and, after a rebound, he is called for a handball when he touches the ball while controlling it.

Lautaro makes too much of a fuss on the edge of the box and Laimer steals his thunder.

URBIG SAVES! Darmian 's shot comes from a corner in the box. He tried to score with his right foot at the near post, but the German goalkeeper kept it out.

And from another corner, poorly defended by Bayern, the Nerazzurri manage to strike: this time, Çalhanoglu takes it from the right, and it's Pavard who beats Min Jae in the air to head home with tremendous power, beating Urbig high. The tie is looking very much in Inter's favor!

And Bayern players complain about a possible handball by Lautaro before the shot: a corner from the left and the bull heads it in. The ball grazes his hand, then hits Kimmich, and the rebound sends him into the box. Inter equalize!

MÜLLER SHOOTS IT UP! Bayern launched another counterattack down the right, which was now unbridled after the goal. The ball went from right to left, and the number 25 appeared in the second row to finish first-time.

Min Jae tries to block Lautaro's path when he was looking to steal in the midfield and ends up committing a foul.

Inter complained about a foul on Mkhitaryan at the start of the play. It ended with Goretzka passing to Kane on the right side of the penalty area. Dimarco didn't pressure him, and he prepared his shot and crossed it inside the far post. Bayern leveled the tie!

URBIG'S HANDLEBAR! Inter take a short corner, Dimarco crosses , and Bastoni fires in at the near post. The ball was going wide, but it came with great power, and the Bayern goalkeeper reacted with tremendous speed.

Dimarco's cross from the left is closed and Min Jae, who doesn't want to complicate things, puts his boot in to clear it for a corner because Thuram was behind.

Thuram goes down in the box! He steals Dier 's ball as he comes off the pitch and beats him in the race, but Laimer appears to get his body in front of him just before he shoots. Vincic tells him to get up.

A very hard tackle by the Bayern centre-back on Thuram , who was already launching himself like an arrow to launch a counterattack.

Kane receives the ball from Olise on the righ, but he's completely alone. Despite Bastoni on his heels, he manages to cross, but no one can finish.

Çalhanoglu 's pass at the start of Inter's counterattack was a very bad idea. Thuram was already charging forward, and Kimmich went all out to block him.

Bayern's cross from the right is flicked on by Kane, who then volleys in a forced effort from Sané. The ball bounced on the ground before reaching Sommer.

And now it's Kimmich who snatches a loose ball in the box. Sommer takes it , very confident so far.

DOUBLE CHANCE FOR BAYERN! Müller gets a free ball in the box and can't get his shot off as his marker closes in on him. The rebound goes to Sané , who cuts in and shoots past Sommer .

ÇALHANOGLU CLOSES THE GOAL! What a way to strike the ball... He received a low ball from Dimarco on the left several meters from the edge of the box . He immediately took control, focused, and unleashed a right-footed shot that just missed the right crossbar.

ACERBI FORGIVES BAYERN! Dimarco 's incredible free kick from the left was a tremendous success. The center-back got his foot in at the near post to cross the shot, and Thuram was millimeters away from slotting it in at the far post. He just missed.

YELLOW CARD FOR MIN JAE

The first chance of the match goes to Bayern's Korean defender, who charged too forcefully at Thuram as he looked for a long ball down the wing.

Goretzka avoids a yellow card! Lautaro had already controlled the ball when he received a hug from the German midfielder. Vincic warned him.

Bayern counterattack with Sané running down the right. The wingers are persistent with diagonal runs and subsequent shots, but Inter have a wall behind them. Now it's Darmian who clears for a corner.

BASTONI TAKES A START! He had Laimer and Dier on him as he entered the box diagonally. He managed to unleash his shot and force a corner.

Lautaro scrambles to find space for Barella in the third quarter . He advances down the right midfield and tries to slip a killer pass to Mkhitaryan , but Goretzka is very alert and puts his foot in just before the ball.

Olise appears again on the edge of the box to unstitch the ball with his left foot and again Pavard puts his foot in to cut.

Inter calls for a penalty! Thuram complains about a stamp from Goretzka . The contact appears to have occurred after Bayern cleared the ball from their own area. The referee says there's no penalty.

Sané looks to launch diagonal runs from three-quarters distance, while Kane drops back a little further to open up space in the middle. The Londoner's repertoire of strengths.

Bastoni looks for a long ball to Thuram but the ball is more powerful and Urbig , resembling Neuer , appears as a sweeper to tame the ball.

The dust has settled after Bayern's lightning-fast start, with Müller proving to be a great playmaker.

BASTONI'S TREMENDOUS CUT! Müller 's chipped pass was beautiful, finding Olise alone on the inside . He controlled it and was left alone against Sommer , but the Italian center-back appeared in extremis to cut the play short.

DIMARCO'S MISSILE! Thuram 's counterattack appears on the right side of the box. He runs out of a shot, so he slows down and opens up to the other side for the wing-back to finish first-time. Urbig saves it .

MÜLLER'S WARNING! The number 25's precise control after Olise 's pass from the right is beautiful : he breaks away from his opponent with a twist and shoots with his left foot inside the near post. Sommer makes a great save.

Kimmich takes the corner from the right side but falls a bit short. Mkhitaryan makes a good save and heads it clear. For now, Barella is off to the test.

BEWARE OF BARELLA!

The Inter midfielder is in a lot of pain with his ankle. Olise accidentally steps on it while shooting, and Pavard sticks his thigh out to clear it for a corner. The assistants come in to take care of him.

Lautaro tried to slip a ball to Thuram on the edge of the box, but Urbig charged like a lion to win the duel. He then urged his team to calm down.
