After acquiring Gianluca Busio out of Sporting Kansas City and Tanner Tessmann out of FC Dallas for the 2021-22 season, Venezia FC have set their eyes in another USMNT player, as they are pursuing the addition of 25-year-old striker Jordan Pefok, who currently plays in Swiss side BSC Young Boys.

So far, Busio and Tessmann have left a good impression in the Italian side, as they’ve played on 20 and 17 games, respectively, in Serie A, which could mean they’re looking to emulate their success, this time by creating an all-American connection in the offensive side.
The addition of Pefok would certainly strengthen their attack, as he’s played a total of 30 games this season, while scoring 16 goals and assisting on two occasions, meaning he scores or assist once every two games.

Although he is registered as Jordan Siebatcheu and that’s the name he used when he started his professional soccer career, the BSC Young Boys striker usually uses his mother’s last name, Pefok, to honor his African bloodline, in Swiss League, something he replicated while playing for USMNT.
