Given the absence of Dani Alves for the game, Xavi decided to start Dest as right-back, where he feels most comfortable. It was obvious that he’s been out of activity, especially during the first minutes, as he made two fouls that were dangerous for Barca.

Although he seemed nervous at times and was out of sync with Abde, he helped the Blaugranas to keep a clean sheet and was able to complete 55 of 61 pass attempts, which could boost his confidence, especially before the upcoming FIFA match window.
