It went viral these days that on the popular TV show Pawn Stars, a jersey signed by Chelsea FC and USMNT striker Christian Pulisic was scorned.

In the video circulating on the program, you can see the moment in which they reject the purchase of the garment

Even though soccer is gaining ground in the U.S. public's preferences day by day, the fanaticism for this sport is still not at the level of others such as the NFL, NBA, or MLB

This is even though the MLS Cup final was watched in English alone by more than 1.4 million viewers in the United States.

But the numbers of the Spanish-language broadcasts have yet to be counted, so the total audience of the MLS deciding match could be historic and perhaps the most-watched Final in the history of Major League Soccer and one of the most-watched matches in history.

Even so, soccer still has a long way to go to compete with the aforementioned sports and become a mass phenomenon like in other parts of the world.

This probably influenced the fact that in the end, the piece was not considered a collector's item by Corey Harrison, one of the protagonists of the series.

How was it that they snubbed Christian Pulisic's autographed jersey?

Pulisic is so far one of the USMNT's biggest stars, if not the biggest. He is even considered by many to be the natural successor to "Captain America," Landon Donovan

But that didn't matter much at TV's most popular pawn shop. It all started when a fan arrived at the store with a Chelsea FC jersey autographed by Christian Pulisic.

The soccer fan presented the jersey to Corey Harrison, and they talked for a while about the importance of the Stars and Stripes player to national soccer.

But when it came time to talk about money, the Pulisic fan asked for $1,500 for the item, and because it was such a large sum, Corey enlisted the help of a friend to authenticate the signature.

However, when the celebrity signing expert authenticated Pulisic's signature, he said that the piece is not a collector's item as you can find many autographed jerseys by the player on the internet.

He even said that if the piece had been from an important match or if Pulisic had scored an outstanding goal with it, it would be worth $5,000

This not being the case, the expert suggested that the maximum value the garment could fetch would be $400

And even though Pulisic's fan was happy with the offer, Corey told him that he could not buy it since the piece would have to spend a long time in his store before being sold

Therefore, he decided to scorn the jersey of the USMNT striker and champion with Chelsea in the Champions League

Christian Pulisic started Chelsea's 3-1 win over Aston Villa in the 19th round of the English Premier League on December 26.

But despite his starting place in the team managed by Thomas Tuchel, it is rumored that Christian Pulisic could leave the team in this winter market, due to his lack of goals.
