Mateo Garzón

Soccer has been the beginning of an extensive career. Graduated in journalism at the Universidad de las Américas in 2023. I made a tour of the Ecuadorian final between Aucas and Barcelona SC, for the university, where I collected different stories from fans of the capital city who love their team. I covered two editions of the Copa Mitad del Mundo, the first as community manager where I was in charge of covering different teams such as Atletico Nacional, Independiente del Valle, Defensor Sporting or Universidad Catolica. In the second one I had the opportunity to narrate the matches, and also to write the chronicles of the matches. I had the opportunity to meet the players of the first team and the president of the club who opened their doors to us. I have done extensive national and international coverage, covering the final of the Copa Sudamericana 2023 for El Futbolero from Uruguay. I started in the Mexican market where I got to know different ways of analyzing and appreciating the ball. Currently I am in the Chilean League, following Colo-Colo and La Roja.
