FIFA reported that it opened a disciplinary procedure to the Mexican National Team due to the discriminatory shouts that occurred in the Pre-Olympic, during the match against the United States. "A disciplinary procedure has been opened against the Mexican Football Federation as a result of discriminatory incidents that occurred during the match corresponding to the men's Olympic qualifier between Mexico and the United States played on March 25, 2021" says a statement sent by FIFA.
