At last it seems that the eternal wait of four and a half years is ending. The 2022 World Cup in Qatar is just around the corner, and for that reason the players are more afraid of injuries than ever. We've seen already recent injuries of players who are going to be missing in the World Cup, and it is not a nice thing to see.

There is little left for the start of the Qatar World Cup and Lionel Messi is already focused on what will be his debut against Arabia, to be played on September 22. Now, a player who beat Leo in the past, dreams of reaching the appointment that will take place in the Middle East, but the coach of the National Team does not want him.

During Lionel Messi's time at FC Barcelona, the captain of the Argentine team was a real nightmare for rival defenses. One of those who suffered the most from the 'Flea' was Sergio Ramos. The Spanish central defender, who is now a teammate and great friend of the '10' of the Albiceleste at PSG, he is at risk of not going to his last World Cup.

Ramos, who had a tense relationship with Messi while they played in La Liga, is not to the liking of Luis Enrique, current coach of the Spanish team. The experienced defender was not taken into account in the final stretch of the European qualifiers or in the Nations League and the chances of him going to Qatar are minimal.

The press and fans press for his call:

Despite the fact that Ramos is one of the idols of Spain, especially because he won the World Cup in 2010 (when the 'Roia' beat Countries by the slightest difference), the current PSG player starts with a disadvantage against players like Eric García, Aymeric Laporte, Pau Torres and Diego Llorente. A certain sector of the fans and the press want him in the World Cup, but Luis Enrique would already have decided on Ramos' future.
