Manchester City and Manchester United faced each other on matchday 10 of the Premier League, both teams came into this match in an important way and the way the match developed was surprising. In a match that seemed even in the previous round, it turned out to be an overwhelming result for the citizens. A double from Erling Haaland was enough for the English team to take the victory.

 

Erik Ten Hag and Manchester United came into this match with three consecutive games achieving an important victory. However, the team could not take advantage of the home field and succumbed to Manchester City and company. The English team achieved an important record in which many expected them to end up struggling or even surprising with a victory, but it was not that way.

In the second half, Haaland showed his enormous attacking talent by moving to the far post in a fast City attack and, in the 49th minute, he headed in from the top to make it 2-0. United never woke up and allowed City to achieve an unforgettable result at Old Trafford. At 79, Rodri tried from outside the area, Onana managed to get it out but Haaland was attentive to assist before Phil Foden's quick entry to make it 3-0.
