The Asian's faith was enough to overcome David Moyes' team, who defeated Sevilla last Thursday in the round of 16 of the Europa League.

The clash between two teams that are both fighting to find a place at the top of the Premier League was summed up in the first half. The home team opened the scoring after nine minutes when an action by Harry Kane on the right ended with a cross where Son was. The South Korean hit the ball, deflected by Kurt Zouma who confused the Polish goalkeeper Lukas Fabianski who could not prevent the ball from going into the net.

The second came in the 24th minute, with a great pass from Kane into space that Son received on the run. He reached the box and shot. He beat Fabianski to make it 2-0.

Benharama gave hope but it was not enough

West Ham, who ended up feeling the strain of the match against Sevilla, which went into extra time, regained their chances before halftime. A corner kick was headed by Craig Dawson and the ball fell to the feet of the Algerian Said Benrahma who beat Hugo Lloris.

Moyes' team tried to balance the match, but as the minutes went by and the rival threatened Fabianski's goal time and time again with quick counterattacks, Moyes' team was deflated. Son sentenced the Hammers in the 88th minute, when he again took advantage of an assist, the second on Sunday, from Kane.

The win puts Tottenham fifth, three points behind Arsenal, who have a game in hand. West Ham are seventh, out of Europe, two behind Manchester United.

Two protesters attempted to tie themselves to a post at Tottenham-West Ham

After a fan stormed onto the pitch and tied himself to one of the goalposts with a bridle in the Premier League match between Everton and Newcastle, two protesters tried to emulate him in the Tottenham Hotspur-West Ham United match, but to no avail.

Two anti-oil protesters, that is, against the excessive use of this substance and its toxic effects when its transport or use gets out of control, broke into the middle of a Premier League match between Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United.

They tried to tie themselves to one of the goals to make their struggle visible. They were unsuccessful, however, as they were quickly restrained by the venue's security officers.
