Real Madrid seems to be taking a step back regarding the signing of Kylian Mbappe or at least that is what they believe in their most recent statement in which they assure that there are no plans to sign the footballer, nor are there any ongoing negotiations for next summer. This suggests that the club would begin to look at other objectives and it is known what Manchester City would ask for, if Real Madrid wants to take Haaland.

Erling Haaland is increasingly closer to Real Madrid according to Foot Mercato. The White House no longer seems really interested in Kylian Mbappé and, according to the British press, the priority is now the Norwegian.

Even if he is not free next June, Haaland has a clause to be able to leave Manchester City for almost 200 million euros, an amount that Florentino Pérez would be willing to pay to get Haaland. The player is a talent that Real Madrid likes a lot and the reality is that the club is willing to make an effort for the player for the following season.

Furthermore, the attacker's agent, Rafaela Pimenta, maintains very good relations with the Real Madrid management. In fact, surprisingly, he was present on Wednesday night at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium to attend the Champions League match against Braga (3-0). Pimenta denied having spoken about the Norwegian with the people of Madrid, but the press seriously questions his presence at the Bernabéu. The truth is that the player sounds increasingly stronger at Real Madrid.
