Pep Guardiola positioned himself in an important way as one of the most outstanding coaches of today. The Spaniard finally comes from winning his first European title of the season and wants to continue leaving his team's project in the best possible way. Now, the coach's desire for 60 million this season is revealed.

According to TV Play.it, Manchester City are evaluating strategies to secure the signature of Buchanan, a talented attacker who has made a significant mark since his arrival at Brugge in 2021. Prior to his move to Belgium, Buchanan impressed in the Major League Soccer with the New England Revolution, scoring 10 goals and providing 10 assists in 57 appearances.

At 24 years old, Buchanan has established himself as a fundamental piece in Club Brugge's starting eleven, participating in 30 games in all competitions, including the Champions League. Furthermore, his outstanding performance at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar has raised his international profile, with 35 appearances for the Canadian national team.

Manchester City is the favorite with Buchanan

Although Inter Milan have also shown interest in the Canadian winger, Manchester City could become an obstacle in the Nerazzurri's plans. Pep Guardiola, eager to strengthen his squad on the flanks, sees Buchanan as a valuable addition, despite his lack of experience in elite European leagues. With Guardiola's preference for players who can retain the ball, City's interest in Buchanan might seem surprising, especially after their recent acquisition of Belgian winger Jeremy Doku.
