Liverpool FC failed in their attempt to qualify for the next UEFA Champions League by finishing outside the Top 4 of the Premier League. In that sense, the club is starting to move to avoid this failure in the next season and therefore, they are already deciding what they will do with Jurgen Klopp for the summer of 2023.

The German coach did not have the best possible performance last season and much had to do with the imminent fall in the defensive level of the team. The Anfield club averaged a high amount of goals conceded, something they are not used to conceding, so it seems that Klopp has lost the key to the team's recent success.

However, the club still has full confidence in the German coach and is willing to help him with whatever he needs going into next season. Beyond the signings that the team clearly requires to be able to compete at the highest level again, they need a new leader to support Klopp from the board.

For this transfer window, important movements are expected in the Red team. Beyond the departures that have already been confirmed such as Milner or Firmino, the team wants to commit to making the necessary reinforcements for Klopp and therefore, they give him an important tool.

What will Liverpool FC do with Jurgen Klopp?

The English team confirmed the arrival of Jorg Schmadtke as sporting director for next season. The successful former Wolfsburg manager arrives at Liverpool FC to support in the negotiations of possible signings and also player sales for the summer of 2023. An addition that makes Klopp's job much easier.
