Liverpool FC has been placed for this season with the aim of trying to reign in England again after the multiple setbacks that occurred in the last season. Jurgen Klopp's team fell in the Champions League round of 16 and was left out of the Top 4 in the Premier League. Now, in order not to experience these scenarios again, the club decided to go out on the transfer market in search of reinforcements.

The first big blow that Jurgen Klopp's team delivered was precisely that of signing the Argentine Alexis Mac Allister, one of the great talents of the Premier League and world champion with Argentina. However, the club failed to achieve the other objectives, as is the case with Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo.

Faced with this situation, and with the urgency that Jurgen Klopp has, the Anfield team goes to the market in search of a pivot and sets its sights on a Japanese talent from Stuttgart. The 30-year-old Japanese player, Wataru Endo, is about to join Liverpool for €18 million. Endo arrives from Stuttgart, according to Fabrizio Romano, being Klopp's first big goal.

What other players are Klopp interested in?

According to Standard Sport, Liverpool will push hard to sign Cheick Doucoure before the transfer window shuts. Crystal Palace value the midfielder at about £70m. However, according to CBS Sport, Liverpool could renew their interest in Khephren Thuram in the final few weeks of the window. Being these two signings with which Jurgen Klopp could close the market, adding the practically closed arrival of Endo.
