Alejandro Garnacho scored one of the best goals of the year in the match between Everton and Manchester United. The Argentine striker positioned himself in a great way and scored a bycicle kick goal that was celebrated euphorically with the characteristic Cristiano Ronaldo celebration, staunch sporting rival of the greatest Argentine soccer legend Lionel Messi. After this event, this was the reaction of the Argentine press on the matter.

A center from Dalot that seemed to be lost. A ball that was opening but from which the Argentine produced a work of art. He jumped, hooked it first with his right leg and sent it to the top corner, far from the reach of Pickford who was just another spectator of Garnacho's shot. A Chilean that was reminiscent of Rooney's against Manchester City more than a decade ago, in 2011. Also of Cristiano Ronaldo's against Juventus. In fact, Garnacho celebrated it like the Portuguese.

Curiously, the pass prior to the execution in both came thanks to a Portuguese, Nani being the one who assisted Rooney and Dalot the one who did the same with Garnacho. This goal is probably a serious candidate to win the Puskas Award, since until now no one had scored a goal this surprising. In Argentina, this is how they reacted to the Manchester United player's goal.

Many media in Argentina echoed the great goal that the Argentine player scored, but almost all of them tried to overlook the fact that he celebrated like Cristiano Ronaldo. The Manchester United player has declared on more than one occasion that he is a fan of the Portuguese. However, the distinguished journalist Pablo Giralt did point out that Garnacho's celebration was directed at the footballer's idol, Cristiano Ronaldo.
