Manchester United is going through difficult times at the moment. Erik ten Hag's team has not had the best results this season. The Red Devils have not shown their best game on the pitch and it has been shown in recent games. Despite last weekend's Premier League victory, everything seems to indicate that the team still has a long way to go.

During the start of this season, it looked like things were going to change at Old Trafford. The signings of names such as Mason Mount, Andre Onana and Rasmus Hojlund excited all Manchester United fans. Each of them had shown important things in their previous teams, so the momentum was sky-high with the arrival of these players.

However, so far, the only one who has managed to deliver satisfactorily has been Rasmus Hojlund. Despite the fact that the team could not count on him in the first few games, the player has responded with goals, precisely in important matches such as the matches against Bayern Munich and Galatasaray. Unfortunately, this is not the case with Andre Onana, who has made occasional mistakes.

It should be noted that United is experiencing moments of transition. According to national and international media, Sir Jim Ratcliffe will buy a 25% stake in United after winning the dispute with Sheikh Jassim. Supposedly, this is the first step to a very likely takeover of INEOS. Given this, Erik ten Hag's future as United manager is already being considered. This could be his future.

Erik ten Hag's future

Despite the poor results, Erik ten Hag was backed by the current management to remain in charge of the Red Devils. According to ESPN's Rob Dawson, Ten Hag remains part of Sir Jim Ratcliffe's new project with the Old Trafford side. That is, as long as Ratcliffe is in charge of running the sporting side of the club. At the moment nothing has been confirmed at the moment.
