Mason Greenwood finds himself training with his future at the club uncertain. The forward has not played for almost a year after being completely erased from football due to legal problems after being accused of sexual assault. However, now that the charges against him have been dropped, this is what the club will decide with the footballer.

The English forward plans to compete again next season after being away from the pitch since January 2022. The police arrested the then Manchester United player after a video of a friend of his ex-partner was published in which he appeared with alleged bruises caused by the footballer.

Manchester United then decided to suspend the player, who had been with the team since he was 6 years old, until the judicial situation was resolved. In addition to losing advertising contracts and damaging his public image, the player has not been able to play a game since then.

What will Manchester United do with Greenwood?

According to Fabrizio Romano, the club will have to make a decision soon and everything indicates that the Premier League will start on August 14. The club has placed itself in an important way and hopes to reach the best possible decision, taking into account that Erik Ten Hag does not rule out staying with the player, since he is aware of his talent and what he can contribute.
