Manchester United is looking to position itself in a great way in the current transfer market. For this, the club has set as a major goal the arrival of talented players, however, things are not starting to go as expected and after the refusal of Harry Kane, now the second target of the club is revealed that finally will not end up arriving to the team.

Erik Ten Hag has been clear about what he expects from the club for next season and also clarified that he also wants important reinforcements and one of them is precisely players in attack and also in midfield. In view of this, the team looked for Harry Kane but came up against an impassive Daniel Levy, who has no intention of letting go of the club's star player.

On the other hand, Manchester United already tried to sign Frenkie De Jong last summer and it was very close to being finalized. However, the arrival of Xavi and the great level shown by the player was necessary for him to stay at FC Barcelona. Now, surprisingly, the player's destination for next season is not Manchester United.

Where will Frenkie De Jong play next season?

The Dutch midfielder is one of the players that FC Barcelona cannot transfer, however, after the arrival of Gundogan and the obvious economic problems of the club, the board would not refuse to sell him for a big price. According to reports from Germany, the player is in the plans of Bayern Munich, who decided to try to sign him while waiting for a positive response from the culé club.
