The story between Chelsea FC and Moises Caicedo finally came to an end. The Ecuadorian will be a new player for Mauricio Pochettino's team for a millionaire amount, which makes him the most expensive signing in the history of the Premier League. A player who shone for Brighton last season, he will now join Enzo Fernandez in a promising midfield.

The 21-year-old midfielder, from Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club, was signed for £115 million, which is equivalent to $146 million, making him the most expensive player in English football history. An amount that falls wonderfully in the team led by De Zerbi and that may be reinvested in about 3 players to strengthen the team.

A completely surreal transfer because, once the English media reported on the agreement reached between Liverpool and Brighton, just as Jürgen Klopp stated that "I can confirm that the signing of Moisés Caicedo is agreed with the club", the player himself turned it around to the tortilla: Moisés Caicedo only wanted to play for Chelsea. And so it has been.

What did Caicedo say about joining Chelsea?

“I am very happy to join Chelsea. I am very excited to be here at this great club and I didn't have to think twice when he called me, I just knew that I wanted to sign for this club. It's a dream come true to be here and I can't wait to start with the team," Caicedo said on the London team's website.
