Harry Maguire seems to be one of the sacrificed footballers of the English team for this season. The Manchester United player is no longer a priority for the club and according to Sky Sports, the Old Trafford team is considering selling him to finance some transfers in the current market. However, according to Fabrizio Romano, the club turned down an offer from West Ham United.

The Hammers are interested in the services of the English defender. The player believes it is time for a change and he would accept a new club on the right terms. However, he is surprised that it is Manchester United that refuses the offer valued at 20 million euros for the footballer.

Harry Maguire knows that he has to leave and the club considers it too. In fact, at the beginning of July, the player was informed that the captain's armband now belonged to the Portuguese Bruno Fernandes. However, at Manchester United they also do not want to get rid of the defender for a price that they consider less than what he is really worth.

Why did Manchester United reject West Ham's proposal?

The English club dismissed the hammer team's proposal because they seek to get more than 20 million euros for the player, as confirmed by Fabrizio Romano. The 'red devils' are aware that David Moyes has full coffers after selling Declan Rice for almost 120 million euros and that is why he wants to get more money from the club, which is a direct rival in the Premier League.
