Manchester United will face West Ham United in the 23rd round of the Premier League. Manchester United's last game was against Brentford, where they won 3-1 away with goals from young player Elanga, Mason Greenwood, and Marcus Rashford.

The Red Devils' clash against the Hammers will be the second match of the current Premier League season. The first game was a win away for Manchester United 2-1 when they still were coached by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Rangnick finally was able to take Manchester United to the winning path. Although their game against Brentford was not that incredible, the Red Devils were effective and knew how to capitalize on their dangerous actions to score three goals.

Let's take a look at the possible starting lineup based on what coach Rangnick has done in recent games.

Rangnick is likely to go with a 4-2-3-1 lineup.

Goalkeeper and defenders

David de Gea (GK) - The Spanish player is undisputable for Rangnick’s scheme and he will be again under the sticks for Manchester United.

Raphael Varane (CB) - The French player has earned his spot in the defensive line and will be a starter for the next match.

Harry Maguire (CB) -  Maguire come off the bench against Brentford due to an injury but this time it seems that he will be in the starting eleven.

Diogo Dalot (RB) - The Portuguese is likely to start against West Ham as he has done it in the last three matches due to the illness Wan-Bissaka is suffering.

Alex Telles (LB) - The Brazilian will once again start at left-back. The former Porto man has played well, plus Luke Shaw is still unfit through injury.

Midfielders

Scott McTominay (CM) - The Scottish player has been outstanding for Manchester United in the last games and Rangnick will trust him again due to his commitment to the club.

Fred (CM) - The Brazilian is one of the most consistent players in the United squad and alongside McTominay they make stronger the midfield.

Mason Greenwood (RW) - The young player has shown he is one of the best players on the squad. Despite the departure of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the young star has remained in the left-winger position and Rangnick will start the England native against West Ham United.

Marcus Rashford (LW) - This is probably the most uncertain position with Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford returning from injury, but this time we believe Marcus will win the left winger's job.

Bruno Fernandes (CAM) - The playmaker comes from scoring a brace against Aston Villa and leaving out the Portuguese for the match would be a mistake. Rangnick should consider him in the starting lineup.

Forwards

Cristiano Ronaldo (ST) - Despite the fact that the Portuguese was upset after being substituted in the last game against Brentford in the 72nd minute, Rangnick is willing to start him due to the importance of Cristiano in the squad. In fact, the coach explained that he took him off the field to give him rest for the match with West Ham.
