Manchester United wants its center forward for this new season at all costs. The coach Erik Ten Hag has shown that there is certainly a need to have a goalscorer in his team and for this, he already chooses the Danish Rasmus Hojlund as the one who should lead the club. However, they must first reach an agreement with Atalanta.

 

Hojlund has been one of the revelation strikers of the last Serie A. The Danish player has surprised everyone with his most recent performance, but mainly because of his scoring ability and great strength that reminds us of Erling Haaland. For this reason, Ten Hag has expressed his wish to the board that the footballer arrive at the club.

According to The Athletic, the negotiations between the player and the club are going well. In fact, an agreement between both parties is reported. However, Manchester United and Atalanta still have certain differences in the final price for the footballer. The Italian club asks for more than the 40 million offered and now, the latest offer from the Red Devils is revealed.

The Danish footballer is considered a generational talent by the Italian club and therefore asks for an amount appropriate to the player's talent. According to David Ornstein, the most recent offer from the Red Devils for Hojlund is a total of 41 million euros, with 9 in variables. An amount that Manchester United hopes will be accepted.
