The second potential signing of the Sky Blues would be the Argentine 17-year-old player Claudio Echeverry from River Plate, who have set the player’s release clause at €25 million. According to the information given by Manchester Evening Standard, the Citizen would be willing to pay the release clause of Echeverri to have him signed in the January transfer window, and would consider to leave the player loaned at River Plate for at least six months in a similar negotiation to the one of Julian Alvarez in 2022.
